Synopsis :
Jenniffer is a young sportswoman questioning her career as a national athlete in Cuba. Her mother, Marbelis, is the tough boss of a public fumigation center in downtown Havana. As her brother is getting ready to leave the country, Jenniffer struggles to find her place.

This intimate family chronicle, seen from the perspective of two women, unfolds the portrait of a generation unsure of what’s next in Cuba.

Damascus, Spring 2011. The begining of the revolution. Nahla is a 25 year-old woman torn between her desire for freedom and the hope of leaving the country thanks to her arranged marriage with Samir, a Syrian expatriate in the USA. When he chooses her younger, more docile sister Myriam, Nahla gets closer to her new neighbour, the mysterious Ms Jiji.

Synopsis:
In a schizophrenic Argentina, divided between a deep conservatism and an unprecedented momentum in feminism, the film delves into the political journey and intimate lives of Claudia and Violeta. Trans women who identify as transvestites, the fight they lead with their comrades against the patriarchal violence is visceral and embodied.

Convinced of their roles at the center of an ongoing revolution that intersects with so many struggles, in defiance of the old world they redouble their energy to invent a new present, to love and stay alive.

Synopsis: 

Lamb is a coming-of-age drama about 9 year-old Ephraim and his constant companion sheep, Chuni, in the vast volcanic canyon land of Ethiopia. Ephraim’s affection for Chuni deepened after he lost his mother the year before. Consequently, his beloved father sends him and Chuni faraway from their drought-stricken homeland to live with his distant relatives in a greener part of the country. Ephraim soon finds himself to be a homesick outcast who is always getting into trouble. When his uncle orders him to slaughter the sheep for the upcoming holiday feast, Ephraim devises a devious scheme to save Chuni and return to his homeland.

Meanwhile, his relatives warn him: he has to stop writing bad articles against the power, it’s too dangerous. But Pasolini wants to expose injustice, whatever it takes.
