In Ejeda, in the south of Madagascar, Emina was born on a cursed day. Since her birth ten years ago, the clouds have disappeared from the sky and the rain has stopped falling. Rejected by her father, she desperately tries to win his love.
As famine threatens, Emina suddenly sees a cloud appear in the sky, heralding the imminent return of the rain. Emina hopes to finally rid herself of her curse, but will it be enough to win back the love of her family?
