The young queer scene of Medell\u00edn is casted for the film, but the main protagonist dies of a heroin overdose at the age of 21. just like many friends of the director. Anhell69 explores the dreams, doubts and fears of an annihilated generation, and the struggle to carry on making cinema. Il se souvient de son enfance, de sa rencontre avec le cin\u00e9ma d&#8217;auteur de son pays et de la d\u00e9couverte de sa sexualit\u00e9. Il tente ensuite de r\u00e9aliser son premier film, une fiction sur une secte de fant\u00f4mes. Le casting se fait au sein de la jeunesse queer de Medellin, mais l\u2019acteur principal meurt d\u2019une overdose, \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge de 21 ans.
