Synopsis

“Luz de la aurora” was one of the inaugural phrases of the EICTV (the Cuban Film School). It is a beautiful image: the light that brings the day is the cinema. In its 36-year history, the school has seen a country, a continent and cinema itself transform. This documentary is built from an archive of short fictions of 3 minutes made by the students, in which we see life passing by. This material is the witness of the frustrations and upheavals of a society crossed by the utopia of “the school of all worlds”, allowing us to dig the deep meaning of apparently banal images.
