Synopsis


From April to June 1994, the Tustsi genocide in Rwanda caused the death of a million people. A military operator of the French army documented the Turquoise “humanitarian” operation, led by France at the end of the genocide. The film follows him and this daily life 30 years later to explore in an intimate way the transition to violence in the lives of the operator and the Rwandan survivors he filmed. Those mirrored point of views testifies to this shared but conflicted experience in its comprehension.
